Benefit for Juliana Ramos 'Better Than Anything I Could Have Imagined'

With approximately 1,300 in attendance, Chris Medina and four other former 'Idol' singers played to a packed room at 115 Bourbon Street Wednesday night.

Five very distinct artists took the stage at 115 Bourbon St. Wednesday, April 13. Different sounds, varied styles, but one common goal: Help Juli.

When Chris Medina called with the idea of a benefit concert, American Idol cast-offs Jerome Bell, Ta-Tynisa Wilson, Caleb Hawley and Carson Higgins were ready to jump in. Where there are Idol singers, there are Idol fans—early estimates show that at least 1,300 showed up at Benefit with a View Wednesday, April 13.

The five singers and their respective bands coasted through their playlists while organizers doled out the raffle baskets and prizes. One man, who won $700 in a raffle, handed the money right back to Juli's family.
