Baby Ducks Saved from Stormwater Grate
Custodian Bob Downen of Lee R. Foster Elementary School came to the rescue of several baby ducks that had fallen into a nearby stormwater grate.
Ten baby ducks were scooped up from a damp prison Thursday afternoon.
Custodian Bob Downen of rescued the gaggle of ducklings from a nearby stormwater grate after an alert student, Paige Eperjesi, came running home to tell her mother Laurie about the trapped animals.
