Oak Forest HS's Benny the Bengal and Drum Line Drum Up Excitement for Football Games

Oak Forest High School Mascot Benny the Bengal stirs up excitement for home football games by raising the spirit flag, accompanied by Oak Forest High School’s drum line.  The spirit flag, provided by the Pep Club, tells students what color clothes they should wear for the home game.  For example, a black flag means a blackout at the game (black clothing), a white flag means a white out (white clothing), and a gold flag means a gold rush (gold clothing) at the game.  The drum line is directed by Oak Forest High School band teacher Nick Rojek and assisted by student teacher Mike Auz.
