Oak Forest HS Welcomes Freshmen

Oak Forest High School Principal Brad Sikora welcomed 332 freshmen in the annual freshman and transfer student day held August 19 at Oak Forest High School.

Students had three 30 minute sessions that represented different parts of student life at Oak Forest High School.  Students took a tour of the building led by the Sophomore Student Council officers; they participated in an activity and sports fair where they could explore all of the clubs, activities and sports available at Oak Forest High School; and viewed a presentation by the PPS Department which emphasized that they should make every moment count while they are at Oak Forest.

Afterwards, students attended an abbreviated class schedule in order to locate their classrooms, meet their teachers, and review academic and behavioral expectations.
