Mrs. Vogel’s Baking class at Oak Forest High School is baking up a storm in preparation for a Regional competition at Moraine Valley Community College on October 24. The theme for this contest is Halloween. In class, Mrs. Vogel held a Cupcake War competition to select the participants that will represent them in the Regional competition. There were three clear winners. Matt Soto won with his orange spiderweb and spider themed cupcake. Karlee Knudsen won with her mummy wrapped cupcake and Brianne Brezine won with her purple spider themed cupcake.
