Oak Forest High School rang in the holiday season at this year’s Senior Citizen Luncheon, held December 4 in the Oak Forest High School Instructional Materials Center.
Seniors were welcomed to the school by Principal Mr. Brad Sikora and Associate Principal Mr. Dan Dunne. Preschool students won everyone’s heart as they sang a holiday song. The Oak Forest High School Music Department led the rest of the program. The Jazz Band, led by Mr. Nick Rojek, played several big band numbers, and the Madrigals, led by Mr. Victor Pazik, sang several madrigal and holiday numbers, highlighting their upcoming program at the high school on December 7 and 8.
After the musical program, the senior citizens enjoyed feasting on turkey and all of the trimmings. Mr. Dunne raffled off several items donated by school employees. Centerpieces were made by the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) students, led by Ms. Kristina Dace, and various other sports and activities at the school.
