Oak Forest High School Assistant Principal for Student Services, Mrs. Jane Dempsey, recently announced the names of Oak Forest High School’s 42 Illinois State Scholars. Students selected are one of 20,000 students from 752 different schools across the state of Illinois. Illinois State Scholar winners rank in the top ten percent of high school seniors and the selection is based on ACT and/or Prairie State Achievement Exam scores and/or class rank at the end of their junior years.
