Oak Forest HS Announces Homecoming Activities

Oak Forest High School Student Council Sponsor Amy Bertrand announced the exciting schedule for Homecoming week, September 23-28.  The theme for this year is an “All-American Homecoming.”

The week features several dress up spirit days.  Monday is class colors, Tuesday is country and western, Wednesday is red, white and blue, Thursday is throw back and Friday is black and gold spirit day.

Events are scheduled to celebrate the wonderful spirit that Oak Forest High School students possess.  Monday is the powder puff game on the football field at 6:30 pm.  Tuesday and Wednesday are hall decorations with the following themes: freshman hall has a New York theme, sophomore hall has a Honolulu theme, junior hall has a Las Vegas theme and senior hall has a Chicago theme.)  Thursday is the Oak Forest High School Hall of Fame ceremony held in the Instructional Materials Center.  Friday features the school Homecoming assembly and the Homecoming parade.  The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at the assembly.  Friday is also the football games against the Hillcrest Hawks.  The sophomore game starts at 5:00 pm and the varsity game is at 7:00 pm.  Varsity half-time events will be held at 8:00 pm.  Saturday, the Homecoming festivities conclude at the Homecoming dance.
