D228 Board Recognizes Student Accomplishments

The Bremen High School District 228 Board of Education recently recognized the achievements of nearly 200 students from Bremen, Tinley Park, Hillcrest, and Oak Forest High Schools.  The event took place at Oak Forest High School on March 4 where more than 500 parents and guests watched as students received gold medallions for their achievements in academics, athletics, community service, perfect attendance, leadership activities, and outstanding talent in the fine arts. The audience was also entertained by the Oak Forest High School Jazz Ensemble and two solos by vocalist MaryKate Thoma.

Board President John Kirkton and Superintendent Bill Kendall congratulated the students and spoke about the outstanding accomplishments and compassion of those being recognized including:
