CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS WITH THE MUSIC OF SOUTH SUBURBAN COLLEGE

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL - South Suburban College is hosting a series of holiday performances in the Kindig Performing Arts Center (unless otherwise noted) at the college’s Main Campus at 15800 State Street, South Holland, Illinois.  All of the following events are free of charge; donations to the Music Scholarship Fund will be accepted.  For more information, call the SSC Music Department at 708-596-2000, ext. 2316. The December schedule of performances is as follows:

Holiday Concert

‘Tis the season for music as the South Suburban College Voices, Jazz Band and Jazz Combo join forces again for a delightful Holiday Concert.  Traditional and not-so-traditional pieces will deck the halls with music to sing along with.

December 6, 2013, 7:30 p.m.

Jazz Band Concert

Visit SSC’s last concert of the holiday season featuring the Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra as they belt out non-Christmas melodies.

“Christmas at St. Victor’s”

553 Hirsch Ave., Calumet City, IL

This year marks the Chorale’s lucky 13th annual Christmas Concert in the beautiful sanctuary of St. Victor Catholic Church in Calumet City.  The Chorale is joined by the outstanding Gargoyle Brass Ensemble to add to the festivities.
