April 11 - Adult Flashlight Egg Hunt!

A flashlight egg hunt for adults 21 and older is happening on Friday April 11, 2014 at Tinley Park Bowl, located at 7601 W. 183rd St., to help raise money for care packages of food and toiletries to send to our Troops thru Operation Care Package (www.operationcarepackages.org), “… a volunteer 501 (c)(3) public charity, dedicated to our mission that no Hero serving our Nation should be forgotten.”

 

Check-in is at 8pm inside the bar at Tinley Bowl and the egg hunt will be held in the outdoor beer garden at 8:30pm. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather as the hunt will be held regardless of rain, snow, or cold.  The actually hunt will last less than 5 minutes, and ‘hunters’ must bring their own flashlight and egg collecting basket or plastic bag.

Sponsored by Holistic Happenings Healing Center of Tinley Park as their charity of the month for April, the cost of the event is $20 per person, and includes the egg hunt, pizza, pop, 3 games of scotch doubles cosmic bowling and shoe rental.  Pizza will be served around 8:45pm. Raffles and other fun is scheduled from 8:45pm to 10pm, with Operation Freedom, Inc. (www.operationfreedominc.com) on hand to give guests a chance to send a free greeting card or letter of support to our Troops. Bowling will commence at 10pm.

RAFFLE UPDATE!  Operation Care Package has been getting 5 to 75 new names almost daily from men and women who need supplies due to cut backs and PX’s closing. Bring in an item(s) from the wish list and be automatically entered to win a basket or two compliments of Operation Freedom, Inc.
