Oak Forest Veterans Teach Flag Etiquette
In honor of Veterans Day and prior to the Nov. 12 city council meeting, the Oak Forest Veterans Commission will give pointers on how to treat the American flag.
In honor of Veterans Day, prior to Nov. 12's city council meeting, the Oak Forest Veterans Commission will sponsor a program of do's & don'ts on how to treat the American Flag.
The 8 p.m. ceremony will include the Pledge of Allegiance and the meaning of each line. It will also include a flag folding ceremony, with the meaning of each fold.
Residents are encouraged to attend and show support for the country and veterans.
