Oak Forest High School Volleys for a Cure
Oak Forest's Lady Bengals volleyball team heads to Eisenhower High School tonight, and will be decked out in pink in support of the search for a cure.
The Oak Forest High School volleyball team piles on the pink and hits the road tonight, for Volley for the Cure away games at Eisenhower High school. Everyone at the match will be touched by pink in some way: coaches, players and officials will wear pink, the ball and referee whistles will be pink, the gym will be decked out in pink balloons and the concession stand will sell pink goodies. Students are encouraged to wear pink and pack the place. The games start at 4:45 p.m., and 6 p.m. Find out more details.
Also today: Fifty-five vendors will be available to help local seniors with their health needs. Various screenings and new vendors with new products. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oak Forest Park District, 15601 S. Central Ave. Free admission.
