Oak Forest Barracudas Holds Registration

The Oak Forest Barracudas, the city's swimming club, is holding registration from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, and from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Oak Forest High School pool. Find out more details.

  • The Barcodes Nonfiction Book Club: The group meets at 7:30 p.m. at Oliver's Bar and Grill to discuss topics ranging from history, journalism, psychology and other areas. This month's book is 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus by Charles C. Mann. Find out more details
