Government meetings: The Senior Citizens Commission and the Consumer Protection Commission meet Wednesday, Aug. 14. The seniors commission gathers at 1 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, and the consumer panel meets at 7:30 p.m. in the Blue Room at City Hall. Go to the city's website for more information.
