Last Chance to Sign Up for Oak Forest's Christmas Parade
Residents, don't miss your chance to join in the city's holiday festivities, scheduled for Dec. 14. The deadline is Nov. 12.
Oak Forest residents looking to join in the city's Christmas parade have just one day left to register. Find out how to register through the city's website.
The parade kicks off at Oak Forest High School at 11 a.m. and will proceed down Central Avenue to City Hall where the tree lighting ceremony will take place.
The top three trees and three honorable mentions from the trim-a-tree contest will be announced after the tree lighting.

Afterward, everyone is invited to Fire Station 1 to visit with Santa and enjoy light refreshments.
Guests are asked to donate an unwrapped toy to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, which provides comfort and distraction to children undergoing cancer treatment. For information, call City Hall at 708-687-4050.
