Observance of the 40th Anniversary of Roe vs Wade
St Damian March For Life!
Our observance begins at 8:30am in the Church with public recitation of the rosary followed by Mass at 9:00am celebrated by our pastor, Fr Joseph Noonan.
Approximately 9:45am we will gather to begin our March for Life, using residential sidewalks, from the church to the City Hall grounds. We will pray the rosary as we March.
There will be three parishioners offering, inspirational, informational and personal witnesses to the defense of Life.
Our observance will conclude at noon.

More About St. Damian Pastoral Center
The rectory is the hub of this 4,000-family Catholic community. One of the largest Catholic communities in the Chicago Archdiocese, St. Damian will celebrate its 50th anniversary this spring. The parish offers many opportunities for parishioners to become involved. A Spiritual Life Commission is open to those interested in music ministry, prayer groups or service as an altar server or Eucharistic minister. Other opportunities include a Women's Club within the Parish Life Commission, or a Welcome Committee and Anniversary Committee. The church supports several charities, including Saint Vincent De Paul. Youth ministry and youth groups are also available.
