"Climate Change" Lecture -League of Women Voters

Mr. Richard Treptow, retired professor,  from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign will address the issue of climate change. Professor Treptow worked for Proctor & Gamble for 6 years conducting reserch in the environmental effects of household cleaning products.  He then switched to a career as a college professor.  He is a spokesperson on global warming and serves as a lobbyist for the Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club.  He is a member of the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Coffee is served at 9 a.m. and the presentation begins at 9:30 a.m.  The public is invited to attend this program.
