When Does School Start in Oak Forest?
Patch compiles a list of all the schools serving the Oak Forest community and when they open their doors for the 2012-13 school year.
Summer is slowly starting to slip away and that can only mean one thing: Schools are getting set to welcome back students for the first day of class. With the first day fast approaching, Patch has compiled a list of start dates for local schools.

Hello there, TaxPayer,
We have some exciting changes going on at Patch. In just two weeks, we'll be launching Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch, with our former Palos Patch editor, Dan Lambert at the helm. With Dan leading Beverly-Mt. Greenwood, Nick picked up the reins over at Palos Patch. We're happy to see him trying new things in Patch, and I'm sure Oak Forest will miss him! I will now lead OF Patch, with the assistance of reporter Jeff Graveline.

Hello, I have 2 kids at st. Damian and they recently removed the school bus which district 145 provides that transports my kids. I'm very upset Because me and my husband work and we rely heavily on the school bus. It's not fair we are still paying taxes. My kids play all sports thru oak forest. Something has to be done.
