What Should Go Here? Former Frozen Custard Shop
When local favorite 2 Sisters Frozen Custard moved to Midlothian, they left a void in locals' stomachs—and the storefront they used to rent, next to Saki Bob. What should go there?
When 2 Sisters' Frozen Custard closed shop in Oak Forest, the store the business called home went up for lease.
Located next to Saki Bob BBQ and along the busy 159th Street corridor, the location's distinctive orange awning beckons passersby eyes to the location, but there's no business to call the spot home.
The small location could be a great spot for a new ice cream shop to fill the frozen custard void, or should a different small business go in the space?

An ice cream parlor with electronic slots / poker machines so kids can come in and enjoy ice cream while grandma gambles and the kids wont be left unattended!

If anyone says "hardware store", I'm going to reach through my computer and theirs and punch them in the nose.

I was thinking this would make a great place for a hardware store.

There was a Quiznos in the strip by Food for Less a while back when it was Domnicks, it failed. Along with the Hallmark Store, Sears Optical, Curves (which moved) CD Exchange and others I cant recall presently!
I like the teen dance club idea! With electronic gaming!

Dear Mike F. Nobody here ever mentioned Zero, he wasn't even in the topic. However, they all most likely failed due to high rent and poor patronage by the public. Dominicks pulling out and leaving a BIG void of traffic didn't help either. Surprisingly, you of all people like the rest of the Kool-Aid drinking followers should know,,it's Bush's fault.

Tinley Park has bands playing in the train parking lot during the summer. How come Oak Forest doesn't? Maybe a stage out back and a place to get some food and drink in the front?
