What Should Go Here? Empty Business Space in Rose Plaza

Right along 159th Street, in the Rose Plaza, sits an empty business space waiting to be filled. Patch wants to know, What Should Go Here?

Businesses along 159th Street from Oak Forest to Orland Park enjoy a steady flow of traffic—and potential customers—rolling past seven days a week. However, there are still business spaces in the Oak Forest area that remain empty—including the one at 5451 159th Street, in the Rose Plaza.

The space, which is located next to a Hair Cuttery, features ample parking and more than 2,300-square-feet of space. The lease option on the space is currently set at $16/SF/YR.

So, Patch wants to know: What Should Go Here? Do you think a small knicknack store would fit, or maybe a takeout pizza shop or some other type of carryout restaurant—or maybe something entirely different.

Let us know in the comments below!

That might be a good spot for a bakery. No drifting odor of horse manure there like at Barb's Place.

I think an upscale resale shop would be nice or an upscale restaurant. I would also like to see an antique shop, maybe with individual vendors paying rent for space.

What about massage? and unique gifts and home decor? Something different, other than food.
