In Oak Forest, I am surprised that neither Oliver's or Marcotte's were nominated. I would vote for either of them over the above choices.

Hi Krista—Thank you for commenting. The choices for this contest come from nominations made by Patch readers in an earlier article. Not all businesses from Oak Forest were included. (As an aside, one nominated business was added to the poll this morning after it had been accidentally left off.)

Thanks for clearing that up Nick. I was wondering too about that as none of the actual restaurants in Oak Forest are listed.

Well, my son and I ate there last week; .99 cent burgers were not that great- really thin and not that tasty; sorry! In O.F. Markella's would be better; but better yet is Pop's in Palos!!!!!

I love to say that it's just a short drive away but if you want really good food for a good price sincerely and honestly the best place to go is the smokehouse in Orland Park they have a great variety of food and very reasonable prices and if you really want to good burger order the Billy burger very good with a variety of different flavors wonderful too satisfy even the biggest of appetite so seriously you have to try the smokehouse in on park located in the plaza directly across from Toys R Us off of LaGrange Road buy disc replay
