Fleadh 2013 Lineup: Blarney Stone Ready with Bands, Brews
Each day leading up to the Fleadh, Patch will feature a business participating in the Fleadh's Pub and Restaurant Open House Saturday, March 9.
The 4th annual Oak Forest Fleadh is just 12 days away, on March 9, and Patch wants to make sure you're ready for all the happenings throughout the day.
The latter half of the day features a bar and restaurant open house that kicks off at 5 p.m. and runs until the early morning hours. Nine Oak Forest watering holes will participate in the open house, and Patch will spotlight one each day until the big day.
Today, Patch features Blarney Stone Pub.
What time does the party start?
Doors open bright and early at 7 a.m. for an Irish breakfast and Bloody Mary bar.
What else is going on?
Besides the Irish drinks and eats, there's live music throughout the day day, with the first act, Sean & Charlie, hitting the stage at 11 a.m. Following Sean & Charlie, Kevin Flynn & the Avondale Ramblers go on at 4 p.m. and The Mahones hit the stage at 8 p.m. There will also be bagpipers throughout the day.
Blarney will also offer corn beef dinners for hungry patrons during the evening hours.
What's that going to cost me?
Blarney Stone is offering a ticket special for the event: $10 gets you in the door with two PBR or Old Style tallboys. Attendees can also purchase a two-day event ticket for $13, which includes entry on Sunday, March 10, and two additional beers.
Click here to purchase tickets for the event online.
During the Fleadh, there will also be $1 off select craft beers, $2 domestic pints, and $2.50 PBR and Old Style tall boys.
Check back tomorrow, Feb. 26, for the next featured restaurant.

Does anyone know if all the bars are going to have a cover charge like this? Do you have to buy the $10 ticket to get in? Not a big fan of PBR or Old Style. This will be my first year in Oak Forest celebrating St.Patty's so any info will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi, Heather!
The bars will all have different deals. Some might charge cover. We'll be publishing one list of specials every day leading up to the Fleadh, so be sure to check back.

You can get the 2 day pass for blarney for $8 including 4 beers if you purchase online before wed at 6 pm and use the access code blarney. That is cheaper then buying the 4 beers alone.
