Sunday Comic: Something Missing from Oprah's Interview with Lance Armstrong
You could see the wheels turning during the cyclist's confession, but in the end it was a less-than-satisfying exchange (and nobody got a car).

The only thing worth watching on TV with Lie-strong would be him getting caned by people who lives he ruined. Gee, he admitted to using performance enhancing drugs. YAWN.

It took a lot of ball for Lance Armstrong to admit he cheated but I'm sure it's not the first time he's eaten a little crow.
Badoom-tish.

The only reason he's admitting it now is for damage control. He's trying desperately to lie himself into a sympathetic view. I was disgusted by the interview. But then, I was pretty much disgusted with him when he decided to leave his wife and kids who stood by him through his cancer treatment. With any luck, Liar Lie-Strong will serve jail time for drug trafficking. Not that it would happen...

Like many who have no honor, no dignity, no respect for decency he now admits (after overwhelming evidence and media pressure) to cheating, lying, etc.
It took NOTHING for him to admit he cheated now. He had every opportunity to admit his flaws years ago and show personal courage. I'll stop now because he is not worth writing about or even considering.

Kinda like Clinton, right Dicktum? Clinton lies through his teeth that he had NO sex with Monica, ruins her life, makes a laughingstock out ot the presidencvy in front of the whtire world...and yet is now heralded as being a grenad statesman. Armstrong cheats and lies about it, gets stripped iof all his championships YET brings millions to aid cancer research and is still ripped to shreds , probably forever. Both cheated and lied about it, both later admitted cheating, but who is the worse liar and who is getting the worse punishmant?
I'm not wishing to fight with anypone over this. I just wanted to voice my opinion on this topic.

Since you asked the question TS, no, they aren't even close to being the same. And if you want to go down the "liar road" we can throw Bush in the mix. Now I ask you this question. Which lie had more negative impact. Clinton lying about sex, smoking pot, etc. OR the Bush led Iraq WMD war?
If you want to try and decide "worse liar" from a political view (which was not the point of the cartoon or comments) then bring it on. Oh, and don't forget to include the voices of the parents who lost children in Bush's war.

Dinkum,
Bush"s War??? What about these people:
“The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow.” — Bill Clinton in 1998
“I am absolutely convinced that there are weapons…I saw evidence back in 1998 when we would see the inspectors being barred from gaining entry into a warehouse for three hours with trucks rolling up and then moving those trucks out.” — Clinton’s Secretary of Defense William Cohen in April of 2003
“We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.” — Ted Kennedy, September 27, 2002
“I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force – if necessary – to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.” — John F. Kerry, Oct 2002
“(Saddam) will rebuild his arsenal of weapons of mass destruction and some day, some way, I am certain he will use that arsenal again, as he has 10 times since 1983″ — National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, Feb 18, 1998
Seems like a lot of people helped with "Bush's War".

Yea, apples to oranges with your comparison (one has nothing to do with the other unless you throw them in the BIG liar bucket). Try at least staying in the same field of play.
If you want to go down the political road, choose Bill or Bush-wacker.

Since you don't get my point, I'll help you.
First, the president does not declare war, Congress does.
Second, all of the people that blame the war on Bush and the WMD or lack of them seem to forget that everybody, including both Clintons, and VP Biden and many others were convinced that they were there and a threat. That is why THEY and not Bush authorized the war.
As far as picking one or the other, they both lied, that is what politicians do.

You need to get your facts straight and stop the BS Tired. First off, I'll correct myself and say it was never declared a war. And if you check, the President can initiate an action before Congress declares war.
Here's what Bush-wacker said in March 2003 "ON MY ORDERS coalition forces have begun striking selected targets...". So you can try to spread the blame around or deflect the truth but the truth is HE wanted that conflict.
