Join Patch and the Bremen Township Republican Organization from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Chicago Gaelic Park in Oak Forest for a vice presidential debate viewing party. You will have the chance to share your views on how the candidates' remarks addressed the issues you care about.
The Bremen Township Republican Organization will be holding an open meeting before the debate, which airs at 8 p.m. candidates Don Peloquin (1st District), Dan Patlak (Cook County Board of Review) and Brian Woodworth (2nd District) will speak. The vice presidential debate airs at 8 p.m.
RSVP using the form on this page or email Patch editor Joe Vince at joev@patch.com to reserve a spot. And just because a GOP group is co-sponsoring the event, doesn't mean you have to be a Republican to attend. We want to see—and hear—from readers who align with both political parties, as well as independents, undecided voters, small business owners, civic-minded citizens and those interested in the political process.
Even if you can't make the party, you can follow along with our live blog of the debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. If you can attend the event, we'll be serving food and beverages. We hope you join us for some great food and thoughtful conversation.
