Police Blotter: Pregnant Woman Battered
Police are looking for a man they believe could have hit a pregnant women multiple times in the face.
Police are looking for a 22-year-old University Park man who may have punched a pregnant woman behind a barber shop in the 4100 block of 167th Street.
The woman told police they were arguing around 9 p.m. when he hit her four times on the side of her face. Witnesses said he took off before police arrived, cutting through the barber shop where one of his relatives is believed to work.
The woman was taken to Advocate South Suburban Hospital because she was six months pregnant and bleeding from an earring, police said.
Investigators asked University Park police to arrest the man when they catch up with him.
