In voting for Southland Patch's MVP for Sept. 17-23, who gets the biggest roar from the crowd?
Lincoln-Way East's Sarah Buchbach had 10 digs, nine service points and six kills in a show of her all-around talent vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais. Buchbach led the Griffins to a 25-20, 16-25, 25-18 volleyball victory.
Shepard's Tommy Eyer scored six goals in Astro boys soccer victories over Thornton Fractional co-op and Richards. He found the net four times in Shepard's 4-1 win over T.F. co-op and two more times in a 5-1 win over Richards.
Andrew's Mary Farrelly had 11 digs in the Thunderbolts' thrilling 25-16, 15-25, 25-20 volleyball victory over Joliet West.
Sandburg's Dakota Hampton delivered another powerful attacking performance in the Eagles' 19-25, 25-22, 25-21 volleyball victory over Lincoln-Way North. Hampton finished with 17 kills.
Bloom Township's Malcolm Hurt put the hurt on Rich South in the Blazing Trojans' 43-15 victory. Hurt was a wrecking crew on defense and returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown.

Still stuck in the 60's? Has the modern world passed you by? You look like an idiot.
