Don't Park and Smoke
Jordan D. Walsh, 21, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, after an incident in the 4300 block of Barry Lane.
While on patrol, officers saw Walsh parked on the roadway without his parking lights on, sitting in his car. Officers smelled burnt cannabis coming from the vehicle.
Walsh turned over a red, metal pipe, used from smoking cannabis, according to the report. Walsh was issued a citation and released.

Whoa, You're Drunk!
Nicholas A. Schavone, 30, of the 17200 block of S. Odell Avenue, was cited for public intoxication, after police found him laying on his back in the middle of the road in the 5400 block of Jessica Drive.
Police were called after a resident reported Schavone was leaning against a car in the roadway.
At the scene, police found Schavone laying flat on his back in the road and asked if he was OK. Schavone replied in a garbled, unintelligible manner, according to the report.
Police called paramedics, but when they arrived Schavone became extremely belligerent, threatening to punch a fireman and assuming a fighting stance.
Schavone was then taken into custody and transported to the Oak Forest Police Station, where he was cited for public intoxication and taken home by a police officer.
