Indictment to Come for Firefighter Involved in Fatal Crash
Patrick Bruce was charged with felony reckless homicide for the accident, which resulted in the death of a 25-year-old Downers Grove woman.
The Orland and Crestwood firefighter involved in a car crash that resulted in the death of a Downers Grove woman Friday in Unincorporated Cook County faces felony reckless homicide charges and is set for indictment later this month, the Sun-Times Media reports.

Patrick Bruce, 45, of Oak Forest, was also charged with failure to reduce speed and reckless driving.
Bruce, an Orland Fire Lieutenant, was off duty and driving his personal vehicle at the time of the accident, which killed 25-year-old Anasis Knox, according to Orland Park Fire Chief Ken Brucki.
