1 Injured, Driver Charged with DUI After Plowing into Forest Preserve
Police responded to a drunk driving accident in the 5600 block of W. 159th Street on Tuesday, Aug. 21. The crash resulted in serious injuries for a passenger.
Police had their hands full last night, Aug. 21, following a single-car accident that left one person seriously injured and another in the drunk tank.
Officers responded to an emergency call at 8:44 p.m. In the 5600 block of W. 159th Street, after a car driven by Philipe Escalona, 28, of 5000 block of W. 159th Street, ran into the forest preserve along the street. Witnesses called the accident in to police.
According to police, a passenger in the backseat of the car was seriously injured and taken to Christ Hospital.
Escalona was charged with damage to highway structures, open alcohol, no insurance, no driver's license and DUI, after he was taken to the Oak Forest Police department for processing. He is currently awaiting trial.

Nancy, it doesn't matter what they charge him with. He already had no license, no insurance and he stil got behind the wheel drunk with open liquor. Do you think he cares?

Once again censoring at its finest Lauren as you hide behind your Terms of Use. The truth isn't pretty. So lets just hide it and claim it offensive!
