Meet Some New Faces at Oak Forest Patch

Meet the new team, running Patch in Tinley Park and Oak Forest. Same as the old team.

Sort of.

Patch continues to cover the community news that's important to you, providing a place where you can share conversation, photos, events and more with other readers. We're just improving how we do it.

Instead of one local editor (that's Joe Vince, who has recently returned from an extended medical leave), Patch has a team of journalists—including Police Editor Nick Swedberg, Community Editor Ryan Fitzpatrick and Associate Regional Editor Lauren Traut—contributing to the site.

Of course, it's the readers that are the key to Patch's success. We want to hear from you, whether it's by sharing your opinion on local issues or passing along story ideas that let us feature all the different parts of the Oak Forest community. These are just some of the ways you can participate:
