Last Chance to Watch Oak Forest's Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting
The City of Oak Forest's annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting take place Saturday, Dec. 8. Watch the parade along Central Avenue, then the tree lighting festivities at Oak Forest City Hall.
The holidays are officially hitting Oak Forest Saturday, Dec. 8, as the city will hold its annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Central Avenue and at City Hall.
The parade, which steps off at Oak Forest High School at 11 a.m., will feature local organizations, churches, groups and more. Once the parade ends, Mayor Hank Kuspa will preside over the tree lighting.
Following the parade and tree lighting, don't forget to stop at Oak Forest Fire Station #1 to donate a pint of blood to the Battle of the Badges Community Blood Drive, too.

Just wondering why it is our last chance to watch Oak Forest's Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting? Is this the last year this will happen?
I liked it better when, in the title, you called it a Christmas Parade instead of a holiday parade like you did in the article. It is a Christmas parade, that is the holiday that the parade is for.

Not the last year it will happen, but we don't want you to miss this year's tree lighting! It's coming up quick, and you only get one shot! :)
Thanks for the comment, Tired. We appreciate your readership!
