The 4th annual Oak Forest Fleadh is just 5 days away (that's March 9), and Patch wants to make sure you're ready for all the happenings throughout the day.
The latter half of the day features a bar and restaurant open house that kicks off at 5 p.m. and runs until the early morning hours. Nine Oak Forest watering holes will participate in the open house, and Patch will spotlight one each day until the big day.
Today, Patch features Gaelic Park.
What time does the party start?
The party kicks off at at 11 a.m. at the Fleadh Family Parade and then transitions back to Gaelic Park for the rest of the day.
What's going on?
There's a lot happening at Gaelic throughout the day, but things kick into high gear at 3 p.m. in the Tara Room, when a St. Baldrick's event starts. People from around the area will be shaving their heads in solidarity with children diagonosed with cancer.
At 4 p.m. Larry Nugent & Friends take the stage, followed by Coyote Riot at 8 p.m.
What's it going to cost me?
Pub food will be served all day, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Drink specials include, Goose Island 312 pints for $3, Mild Winter Pints for $3, 16oz Bloody Mary's for $4, along with other specials as well.
