Tossing Drugs in Front of Cops Doesn't Work
Keith A. Kimble, 41, of the 5100 block of W. 167th Street, was arrested andcharged with possession of a controlled substance after officers saw Kimble yelling and banging on the front door of his house.
As officers approached, Kimble turned away and tossed three small objects towards the garage, according to the report.
Searching near the garage, officers found two small baggies of suspected cocaine on the garage's step and one baggie in a pile of leaves near the step.

Where'd the AC Go?
An air conditioning unit was taken from Chicago Land Intervention, 6006 W. 159th Street, police said. The unit went missing between Jan. 26 and Jan. 28. The unit was on the west side of the office condos, near similar units.
Snow Blower Stolen
A business in the 6000 block of W. 159th Street was burglarized, police said. Burglars forced open a shed in the rear of the business and took a red, self-propelled snow blower, police said.
'Who Dat?' on My Cell Phone
A dad told police his daughter lost her cellphone the morning of Jan. 25 at Jack Hille Middle School, 5800 W. 151st Street, and did not realize it was missing until later that afternoon.
The dad activated a location app on the phone and immediately received a text from the phone that read, 'Who dat?' When he called the phone, a 13- or 14-year-old girl answered but hung up when prompted to return the phone.
The phone was locked to prevent unauthorized use.
