Death of Man Found after Fire Declared a Suicide
A man found dead after a fire in a Midlothian apartment killed himself, Sun-Times Media reports.
A man discovered dead after a fire in a Midlothian apartment building committed suicide, Sun-Times Media reports.
Courtney Walker, 21, died of carbon monoxide poisoning, and smoke and soot inhalation, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The fire started around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4, on the second floor of the Amberley Courts Apartments in the 3600 block of West 147th Street, according to the report.
Walker was the sole tenant of the unit and was alone at the time of the fire, police said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

What is going on lately with the suicides? I have never seen so many in such a short time. It's very sad.

Did you see the name this moron posted the comment under? Unless it was Jim's dad that posted it (highly unlikely given the flippant tone of the comment). Jim Jr. committed suicide not too long ago. My guess is that was someone using Jim's name to make the comment thinking it was funny.
