SATURDAY, AUG. 25
Robbery Snarls Move
Police were notified of a burglary to a motor vehicle in the 15300 block of Walnut Street.
The victim told police they were moving and packed their items in their car. The victim said that an unknown person(s) removed several items of jewelry from the car.
The victim told officer they would make a list of the items, to be submitted to the police at a later date.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 22
Coin Collection Stolen
According to police, a complainant in the 15900 block of Forest Avenue reported a home burglary between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The complainant told police the home was locked before they left for work, but was unlocked with the backdoor pushed or kicked in when they returned from work.
The person said they were watching the home for a family member, who was out of town.
The complainant told police several bags of coins and a coin collection were taken from a safe within the home. The safe was unlocked due to a dead battery.
Neighbors said they did not see anything unusual. Police have no suspects at this time.
TUESDAY, AUG. 21
Copper Connecter Stolen
Officers were notified by a victim that sometime between Aug. 14-21, an unknown person(s) had removed a large copper lightening bus car connecter from an AT&T cell tower. The item is valued at $800. There are no suspects at this time.
