CRITTER CORRAL GUINEA PIG RESCUE IS OPEN HOUSE!

Never heard of a guinea pig rescue?!?  You're not alone.  The volunteers at Critter Corral hear that a lot.  So let us explain.  Critter Corral is the only rescue licensed by the State of Illinios devoted solely to guinea pigs.  Since 1999, we've taken in over 3,300 homeless, unwanted and abused guinea pigs.  And on Sunday, November 4th, we'll be holding one of our biggest events of the year - our Annual Open House - at Willard Wood Park Center, 515 First Street, in not-so-far Crete, Illinois, from 1pm till 4pm.  This is one of the two events each year where we bring out the most guinea pigs for adoption, so if you've ever considered adopting a guinea pig, would like to learn more about them, or would like to help support the rescue, this is the perfect time to do so.  We're sure to have a piggie for every desire - a boy or a girl, older or youngster, a single or a pair.  But that's not all!  There will be a costume contest for piggies, food and raffles for the humans, an artist on site for custom watercolor paintings, and a wide array of items for sale benefiting Critter Corral.  Please come on out and check our piggies out.  And please remember to always opt to adopt!
